Using HTML Renderer Control instead of Browser Control?

Hi,

I'm wondering if it might be possible to use the HTML Renderder Control (http://htmlrenderer.codeplex.com/)
instead of the Browser Control for displaying the HTML? I have experienced several problems using the Browser
Control in my applications, because the Browser Control is dependent on the local installed IE (Mozilla for Mono).

Kind regards,
Matthias

Hi Matthias,

There's a different control (the "ModelTextHTML Control for .NET") at  http://www.modeltext.com/html/

It is all (including its renderer) implemented from scratch: it doesn't depend on IE, nor on Mozilla or any other standard browser.

If you'd like to try it out, I'd welcome any feedback from you.
